Admissions Process
We are thrilled to welcome you to Irvine Hebrew Day School! Please follow the application steps below, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact our office.
Early applications are encouraged to ensure space availability.
Admissions steps
Schedule a school tour. You will have the opportunity to meet teachers, administration, and see the classes in action. We are also happy to connect you with other parents to ask about their experiences.

Submit a $175 non-refundable application fee when you submit your application
Should you require financial assistance, our Financial Aid process is handled by FACTS and can be started here.
Send the private and confidential online link for the Teacher Recommendation Form to your child’s current teacher. The form should be submitted by the teacher as soon as possible (generally within two weeks of completing the application)
Sign and return the Authorization to Release Confidential Information Form so that we may contact your child’s school and speak to the teacher, director, and/or staff. The form will also allow us to receive other enrollment documents and arrange a time to speak to your child’s teachers and/or staff.
We will review report cards, teacher recommendation forms, and other pertinent documents and communications for all students as part of our assessment process.
