Grant Awarded – The Israeli Arts Education Institute
Irvine Hebrew Day School
is honored to have been awarded a grant from the
Jewish Community Foundation of Orange County to support Jewish educational arts programming!
This grant supports a collaboration between Irvine Hebrew Day School & Temple Beth Sholom in establishing:
The Israeli Arts Education Institute
This innovative program provides professional development to enhance Jewish learning through Israeli arts integration, including the fields of fine arts, dance, music (instrumental and vocal), theater, literature and visual arts. The OC Jewish community will be invited to professional performances and display of student works.
Through the arts, our diverse Jewish population finds a unifying message, creating an artistic community with its own unique cultural atmosphere. Our students develop appreciation for different perspectives and find a common voice through artistic expression, Israeli culture and our shared history.
We are grateful to the JCF for supporting these exciting arts programs for the Jewish community.
